:D Round around Düsseldorf
Once around Düsseldorf!
This is not an easy task, because not all paths along the border of the town
can be driven by car. Rather you should swim or go by boat because river
Rhine is a big part of the western border.
We decided to use the bicycle and recorded a track which is as close as
possible to the real border of the town. Only once there is a bigger deviation
to cross river Rhine.
We took a few photos on our way and came up with a little task to each of
them. Fulfilling the task will lead you to the cache hideout at the end of
your tour.
It is your job to follow the track and to find the locations shown in the
photos. To make it a little easier the photos are placed in the correct order.
You only have to assign the first pitcure correctly and the rest will unfold.

The Formula:
Build the sum of all values.
N51° (Sum*private road) - (gear wheel*figure) - (signs*lantern) + anchor
E06° Sum * (gear wheel+private road) - (lantern*metering point) + wheel + signs - mount
28.08.2016: the final location moved and the formula has changed!
You need a measuring tape (3 meters minimum) to answer the questions.
All values are measured in centimeters and have to be rounded to the nearest
ten (IE 123cm = 120). Values to be counted are not rounded.
The track leads through several nature protection areas. You don't have to
leave official roads or footpaths at any time.
Quick Guide "Show Track" for Garmin Oregon:
Save the track on the PC with a right click and "save as" and copy it to the
"Garmin/GPX" directory on the Oregon (device or SD card doesn't matter).
Switch on the device, call up the "track manager" via the main menu. Select
the track "Rund um D" here. If you have several tracks on the device,
you can still change the color so that it is easier to find it again. Then
select "show on map".
Now just go back to the main menu and switch to the map display. The track
should now appear here.
Find any starting point and follow the track.
It is of course no additional logging requirement, but we would like to
see a screenshot of your track if you really rounded Düsseldorf!
Please use the GeoChecker, it contains a hint about the final!
GENERAL REMARKS
There is no geocache to find at the listed coordinates. No
cache which is part of the :D series requires to trespass
rail tracks or highways. Caches located on private property
have been placed there with explicit permit of the owner.
