:D Bridges of Düsseldorf
The 7 bridges across the River Rhine are usually referred as Düsseldorfs
bridge family. The bridges are connections between the districts left of the
Rhine, Neuss and Meerbusch with the center of Düsseldorf. In particular the 3
cable-stayed bridges near the center are typical for Düsseldorfs skyline.
You have to visit all seven bridges and find a "bridge picture" on each side.
Then you can answer a question concerning the picture.
The first riddle will lead you to one of these locations. In the Geochecker
you can find the images and an excerpt of a map of Düsseldorf. Those areas you
have to visit to find a picture have been marked.
In order to make it a little more difficult, we have added a few additional
pictures from other bridges.
The optimal path length is ca. 50 km, so it's best done by bike. The final is
about the middle of the tour.
GENERAL REMARKS
There is no geocache to find at the listed coordinates. No
cache which is part of the :D series requires to trespass
rail tracks or highways. Caches located on private property
have been placed there with explicit permit of the owner.
